Indications

- Prophylaxis: Prevention of UTIs in certain surgical procedures, such as transrectal prostate biopsy.
Note: Not recommended for the treatment of pyelonephritis or perinephric abscess.
Dosage and Administration
- Adults: Administer a single 3g dose of Monurol granules dissolved in water.
- Timing: Preferably taken on an empty stomach, at least 2–3 hours after the evening meal.
- Preparation: Dissolve the contents of one sachet in ½ cup (approximately 120 ml) of cold water. Stir well and drink immediately.
